My Artwork

My art is usually more about technique than concept. I like to experiment with high contrast work, and push it as much as I possibly can. I create representational work focusing on textures, creases, highlights, and shadows. I'm always challenging myself to go one step further, hoping to create something better than my last.

I started off really interested in charcoal because I love how messy it is. Then I shifted to graphite pencil, then oil painting, and now I predominantly work in acrylics because I became less patient in my art-making.
